Don't worry, I won’t be asking them to.

Your dog is unique and I want to capture the personality and energy of your pup, whether they're calm and collected, bursting with excitement, a bit shy, or easily distracted.

So I’ll let your dog “just do what they do” — taking the time needed to capture their true essence. I approach each pet photography session with a blend of photography skills, an understanding of canine behaviour and a lot of patience. This guarantees I'll create timeless images that perfectly reflect your furry friend's character.

Meet your pet photographer - Deborah Stevenson

Hello! I’m Deb, the photographer behind Cedar & Bark Photography.

When I launched Cedar & Bark in 2018, I immediately had this strong sense that I had found my path. 

My work combines my two lifelong hobbies: Creative photography and my knowledge of canine behaviour. And the best part is that I no longer have to leave my furbabies home from 9 to 5. 

In fact, craving more quality time with my own dogs, was the driving force for starting my photography business. 

Today, I love my job more than I ever thought possible, and I think that comes through in the relationships I create with my clients and the meaningful impact my art has on them.
